Florida attorney Steven Cozzi disappeared from his law firm’s bathroom on March 21, 2023. His body has never been found. Three years later, plastic surgeon Tomasz Kosowski represented himself at trial as prosecutors used blood, DNA, surveillance footage, cell data and an extraordinary timeline to argue that Cozzi had been murdered. In September 2026, a judge found Kosowski guilty of first-degree murder. Now the case has moved into its penalty phase.
